After working several years for a general contractor in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Peter Blenker, along with his wife Pamela Jewell, decided to venture out on their own. In 1974, Peter and Pamela started Blenker Construction Inc., a contractor doing mostly remodeling and additions. After business began picking up, Peter hired on a few more people.
We stay one step ahead and know how what we are doing will affect the next person in the process. We believe in making a difference, we show up excited and enthusiastic about what we are doing. We take the time to understand the situation and work through any issues to solve the problem and move on.
Professional, thoughtful, knowledgeable. Outstanding results, I love how well my home came together! Most people say how difficult building can be, but I had the best experience working with Blenker. A well built home in record time. From design through construction, questions were answered in a timely manner, staff were transparent and patient when issues came up, and we now live in a beautiful home. It was as stress-free as building a house can possibly be.

Called and met with them for a bid on outside walls of our residence. Ricky Martin doesn't return emails or calls. Setup an appointment to meet with Ricky Martin and Mark Robinson. During the meeting Mark basically says we can't afford this property without knowing anything about our financials. We push forward. Weeks go by with no return emails or a quote.
After a phone call with Mark magically a quote appears. It was a half a million dollar quote that contained four total lines. They then do not respond to emails or show up for scheduled phone call. We reschedule call. To them saying they don't want to put in the time in the quote because again, from my impression, Mark doesn't feel we can afford it.
When Ricky and Mark were asked questions about the quote they couldn't give any answers or details. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had with any builder. Arrogance beyond arrogance.

Owner is a real Jack. Rude to all of my guys when we were working around them. He has a lot of money and will make it seem as if he is always right. Must be nice. There are plenty of other contractors that have a small business mentality and treat people like they are human. If I could give zero stars I would.
