Bloomingdale did a wonderful job 4 years ago on our kitchen and hardwood remodel so we had hoped to use them again on our bathroom(s) remodel. It's been about 10 weeks since they came out to measure and no quote was ready as of today. They are too busy to quote which also means too busy to do the job. I just wish he had been honest with us back in April that it would be improbable that they could take care of us in a timely manner.

I would not recommend Bloomingdale Construction, their customer service is horrible and if you are doing a renovation on your current residence they probably won't be able to help you out. They came to our residence in October of 2014 and spent about 2 hours of our time taking measurements and understanding what my Husband and I were looking to get done (master bath demo and partial kitchen renovation).

They indicated that this was a job they would definitely be willing to take on and that they would contact us in 6 weeks to review their ideas and costs. December came and went with NO follow up. My husband placed a call and sent an email looking for an update. Excuses were made that they were busy and their office relocated but that they would contact us after the holidays. January came and went with NO updates.

My husband sent an email to Mike this week and received a response that said they would not be able to take on our job as they were too busy with other jobs. Don't waste your time. 3/4/15 - KUDOS to owner Robert Bloomingdale who followed up with us several times after this review was written to try and make right what happended. Although, we have since found another company to work with on our project, the follow up was excellent. Thank you Robert for your timely follow up.

Bloomingdale did a great job with my new construction. They actually finished ahead of schedule. They were very good about some specific requests that I had and did a high quality job. They were also very considerate to my new neighbors.

The entire Bloomingdale staff was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I found the staff to be extremely professional, hard working, and dedicated to their craft. The project which Bloomindale was hired for posed numerous challenges, and, despite those challenges, my project was completed timely and on budget. Not a day goes by without someone paying a complement to my new home - which would not have been made possible without the hard work of Bob, John and the rest of the staff. I would absolutely recommend Bloomingdale to anyone who is in the market for any residential construction project.

Anybody frustrated with the current available housing product should call Bloomingdale Construction for possible renovation, new construction opportunities. The staff is easy to work with, the finish product was exactly what I paid for. Bloomingdale Construction made the home building experience as streamlined as possible. Rochester is a premier neighborhood because of the value added by Bloomingdale Contruction and the crew.

After looking for a home for about 3 months we decided we could get exactly what we wanted if we built it ourselves. Bob was great in finding us the perfect location in downtown Rochester. He met with us several times to finalize the plans and we even toured some homes he had built. We did our research on this company and found their clients to be extremely happy.

During the process John was always available. The neighbors commented on how polite the crew was and how clean the worksite was kept. We have been in our new home for over a year and we love it. I will think of these people as friends! If you are considering building you can't do better.

Thank you so much to everyone at Bloomingdale Construction! I am the pastor of Lutheran Church of the Master in Troy, MI and the renovation work at the church has been fabulous. Even in the middle of construction the congregation was able to function. They really cleaned up each and every day of the project. Work happened on time and on budget. The carpenters and subs were kind, respectful and excellent.

The design process was smooth and in the end of the project the church is bright and fresh and modern. Working with Bloomingdale Construction has been a joy and I would highly recommend them to anyone with a remodeling or construction project.
