The dangers of asbestos exposure have been known for years and, as a result, the use of asbestos in the United States has been declining steadily. Existing asbestos continues to pose a serious health hazard that can result in Asbestosis, Lung Cancer, and Mesothelioma, a rare form of cancer known to be caused only by exposure to asbestos.
According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, "Childhood lead poisoning remains a major environmental health problem in the U.S." The most likely source of dangerous lead can be found in lead paint that was used on homes built before 1980. Exposure to lead can harm not only young children, but also babies before they are born, and even adults.

Devon was very helpful in doing the necessary research to help me figure out exactly what type of asbestos testing we needed done for our ductwork. We didn't end up needing them after all, but I would definitely contact them again if we do end up needing testing later.

This company was fantastic in handling our mold issue before selling our home. I'm very pleased with their performance. I've also been informed by local schools that my friends' children attend that they work with LAUSD in handling LAUSD asbestos abatement (as part of a great team) and have done an amazing job. Thank you CSC for your great work.

I hired this company over the summer to do an inspection. The inspector was friendly and answered my questions. He forgot to bring his gun which checks for lead. I specifically requested my ceramic tile be checked and he assured me he'd bring it just 2 days prior to his arrival. He told me he'd come back and check the following week but he didn't.

It took several phone calls to get my report. The inspector told me he had written down my phone number wrong and wasn't able to call me. I later spoke with Agnes who very curtly told me the fault was mine since I was using an email server they were having problems with. When I asked why they didn't send it in the mail or call me, I was given attitude.

When I later tried to send in tiles so they could check them at their facility, Agnes was so rude I almost fell off my chair. I explained the inspector had forgotten to bring the gun and I had recently paid a $350 fee for a home inspection. She told me the company wouldn't be able to help me and I needed to call another lab. I later spoke with Jason who informed me they had a way to check the tile at their lab and Agnes was mistaken. I would just need to send in the tile and $40. I decided at this point to contact other facilities. I would not use this company again.
