We are very happy with our Country Joe Home. The construction is very solid and we appreciate the high quality siding brand they use. We love the 2x6 construction that gives more insulation and deeper window sills. The doors fit beautifully! The design of our spec home is wonderful. After doing a remodel of our older home, I thought my kitchen was well designed until I moved into our new home design called Bristol.

So much storage and space, it is unbelievable! We were able to make a tweak to our floor plan and Jim, the construction manager was exceptional in getting it done for us. The neighborhood is wonderful and very well thought out. The development detail like lights, sidewalks, overviews and general lot placement is top notch. You will not get that with a national builder. We are so happy with our move to a Country Joe home and development!

Country Joe Homes were great to work with during the home build however after living in the house for nearly 10 years I will not say this is a high quality home. I grew up in a well-built home and our CJH does not come close. The entire house shakes when the exterior doors are shut a little bit hard. The exterior siding has always looked a bit dilapidated due to the caulk smeared all over the installation nails and poor joint caulking.

The amount of settling in the house has caused the vertical trim boards to bow out so much that there are 1/4"+ gaps. Every wood finish inside the home is the absolute lowest quality possible. I lived in homes with oak wood floors and the CJH "oak" wood floors are no where near as strong-not sure how it's even possible (isn't oak, oak?) not to mention the cupping that has occurred.

The solid wood front door got majorly dinged when i dropped a plastic toy-unbelievable! I grew up using coasters and never leaving anything damp on wood. I know how to take care of a home and i am just shocked at how delicate this home is. I would never use a budget builder again.

A+ I can't say enough great things about the entire team at Country Joe Homes. The entire process was well laid out and executed just as they promised.

I have worked with Country Joe homes as a trade partner in a few different capacities since 2001. They are well organized and build a lot a value in to the projects for their customers. They do not cut corners and "do the right things". From workers safety all the way to the end product for their customers. I would not hesitate to purchase a home from them.

We purchased a home from Country Joe during the summer of 2017 and have had numerous unusual issues since. After moving in for a week, we were displaced for 5 months due to extreme formaldehyde levels in the home. A few months after moving back into the home we had significant water damage from leaking through the roof vents. They refused to address the root cause of the leaking and it is happening again this winter. Numerous neighbors have reported the same water damage due to snow and ice getting in through the roof vents, but they continue to deny there is an issue. Stay away.
