Home Crafters We are custom home builders and we build HomeCrafters homes with these details, these touches in mind. Because those are the things our clients tell us years later how much they appreciate them. Certainly, it's craftsmanship. But our passion begins long before any nails are put into wood, before any concrete is poured, frames erected, tiles placed.

Nestled in the Sierra Nevada Mountain foothills you'll find Caughlin Ranch. This beautiful 2300-acre community located southwest of downtown Reno, is a nature lover's retreat that has been admired by professional photographers and treasured by homeowners for decades.
Services
Troy and Travis Means, 3rd generation Nevadans, have been building award-winning homes throughout northern Nevada now for some years. Distinctive homes that exude quality and craftsmanship in every room, every part of the landscape. What's more, HomeCrafters has developed a sophisticated accounting system to remain completely transparent with our clients.
At HomeCrafters, we present the promise of incorporating your unique personality into your luxury, custom or semi-custom home. We can take your dream from concept to reality working closely with your architect, or we can work with your existing plans.
You could say, building beautiful homes is pretty much "in our blood." Established in 1996, HomeCrafters has built more than 400 custom and semi-custom homes since then. Distinct homes. Beautiful homes. Award-winning homes. What's more, HomeCrafters has built these homes in some of the area's finest master plan communities, such as Caughlin Ranch, Somersett, Arrow Creek, Saddlehorn and Montreux.
We couldn't be more pleased with the final product, and the professional manner in which all phases of the construction were handled. Your staff was very knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with, especially during the initial stages, when we were required to select the various custom materials to be used in the construction.

The day use area is perfect for families. Outhouse bathrooms, picnic tables and lots of trails to explore on foot or bike (all skill levels).
