The staff at Leachman Lumber is an excellent group of guys. The gentleman working behind the counter are both friendly and professional. Josh always has a welcoming smile on his face, and Gino can answer any question you got. The two supervisors are great men to work for. Toby is more than fair to his employees and treats them with respect and dignity. Steve is the most dedicated/ hardest working supervisor you will ever meet.

He deserves a raise! The trim department is led by Leo. A friendly charming young man hailing from the beautiful country of Puerto Rico. He never hesitates to stop whatever he's doing to help a customer. He deserves a raise! The truck drivers are the best around. Donnie and Major Mike especially. They make sure the customer gets exactly what they ordered and that their Lumber delivered as soon as it's picked.

They deserve a raise! The forklift operators are hard working gentlemen, led by Stephen (an underappreciated employee when it comes to his pay rate after 8 years of dedication) he is the most punctual and dependable man you could ever want working for your company. He definitely deserves a raise! Ren and Shane make sure orders get done in a timely manner. Danny and Juan do an amazing job training new employees.

I have an ongoing project. I was recommended to them by our builder/contractor as a reliable vendor. They have been reliable at communicating about the variety of materials ordered, and when they'll be available. Also, their delivery has been on-time, and done with no delays.

I have found all the guys that work at Leachman Lumber to be SUPER nice and helpful too. I'm a woman and not a dedicated woodworker, but they don't talk down to me. The counter guy gave me advice and encouragement and told me how to accomplish what I needed and he was right, I could do it and I did and with excellent results too. How satisfying! Their product is always good quality and I can't say enough good things about a local, lumber yard as opposed to a 'big box' store; there's no comparison. Thank you Leachman Lumber and all the folks that work there!

Terrible customer service! I spent over $75,000 here on my house. Asked them to deliver decking material and agreed to pay $50 for a delivery charge. They told me material would be delivered at 11:30 and they close at noon on Saturday. So I call at 11:50 to confirm that material is going to be delivered and the guy on the phone was SO rude to me. Really wish I could return the $75,000 plus I spent here.

Professional and friendly. They take their job seriously. They do not have every piece of wood a woodworker needs in stock, but they can order it at great prices. They deliver, even small loads, which is a life saver for someone without a truck or trailer.

Great service, always willing to answer any questions, large product range. Not a "big box" store---a local full service gem.

My sister checked Leachman for a piece of walnut and they didn't have any. That's not the part I'm reviewing about though. They let us know that another place was pretty much ripping us off for the walnut that we were trying to get. Ended up saving us a giant headache and a lot of money. Super awesome people!
