Our home was built by Marvin and Sheila Haworth. They were easy to work with and answered all questions and made changes that we requested. I would use them again in a heartbeat and recommend then highly to anyone that asked me! Loved our home.

Marvin is among the most difficult individuals I have had the displeasure of dealing with over the past 13 years. It started with the harassment as builders completed our house. Several repeated complaints for seemingly easily rectified and minor items. It was as if he was personally angry that we didn't choose him as our builder. At one point, after it rained for many consecutive days, I was called by an attorney and threatened with a $10,000 fine for some dirt that had drained off the curb into the street.

We were the only house on our block and awaiting clean up by the landscaping crews to finish the yard. Marvin didn't care and used his attorney to financially threaten us. When the diameter of a couple of trees were measured and found to be literally 1/4 smaller than he wanted in his homeowner covenants, we received another aggressive letter. When we were building our fence for the yard, we were again rudely notified for not completing it fast enough.

I have literally lost count over the years of his habitually antagonistic approach to virtually every aspect of the development of our neighborhood. Dozens of neighbors complain amongst ourselves and it is a running joke regarding the letters he sends. Today, I reached my end point with regards Marvin's approach and lack of basic common courtesy to those unfortunate enough to have had to deal with him.

I was notified that Marvin Hayworth placed a Lien on my home almost 9 years ago in reference to a homeowners association fee. No notification, which is legally required, was ever sent or communicated to us in any manner. When Marvin was directly asked about this, he had no recollection of this matter. Consider all of your options, talk to multiple homeowners, and seriously consider who you choose to deal with when building your home. In retrospect, I could have done without the years of irritation and badgering of one unpleasant individual.
