Services
Thank you for your interest in an MPF Building. If you would like a bid, please email Steve at michelspostframe@aol.com. It helps the bidding process if you include the location of your building site and the details of what you're hoping to build. It is also helpful to know if you are looking for a ballpark figure or an exact bid.

Steve and Ken and their crew are knowledgeable, experienced and were damn near surgical in their approach to my outbuilding project. Everything from plotting and materials selection to construction went off without a hitch, resulting in a 40x80 garage/shop/motorhome nest that is beyond my expectations. I highly recommend their services and could not be happier with the finished product.

It came out so well, I decided to add another $70k for a double wide concrete driveway rather than asphalt, simply for aesthetics and longevity. Full recommendation for a firm that has put up literally thousands of buildings in South Dakota. Best of the best!

Steve is amazing. He has been doing this for a long time and knows what he is talking about! Its nice to have a local business and not have to deal with a corporation.

I don't usually post reviews but MPF Buildings. Michels post frame not only built my shop in a very short time frame but also followed through and performed as they said the would. The crew worked like a well oiled machine. Although I had to call back twice to reach Steve, to get my bid, I come to understand that he is the owner and the estimator and he was loading a truck when I stopped by, Once I got my plan set for what I wanted I got my bid via e-mail that day and scheduled the next. I'm glad I made the effort to give these guys a chance.

My husband and like to shop locally. We stopped into the show room and spoke extensively with the nice lady in the office about what we were planning on having built. She told us that the owner would be getting back to us in a day or two. Over three weeks later I called and asked if there was a reason why we hadn't heard anything at all? The owner Steve, said to me, we're busy!

I said, yes I understand that but a phone call would be courteous. Say, your busy, but we feel we count as customers as anyone else! What blew me away is how rude he was. Steve said, are you going to build this fall or in the spring? I said we aren't sure now as we are getting other quotes now. He said, if you are not going to build until Spring there is no need for a quote now.if you are going to build now I can give you a quote.

I don't think its unusual for a consumer to need to know how many thousands of dollars they are going to need to pay for something.even if it is months down the road. It's called planning and budgeting! When I asked again about not getting a call back he told me that we got lost in the stack and he offered no apology. I said I wasn't sure that was ok and he cut me off saying if you change your mind were just down the road and hung up on me. I would not spend one cent at this mans business. All customers should be important!
