Built a custom house with Novek Fleck in 2016 and Dave was super helpful with everything and was very clear with what most home owners regret when we were making decisions. There is very little still what we would change today if we were to build our house again. I understand it was before Covid but our house was built in less than 90 days once we finalized a plan.

We built a home with Novak-Fleck 2 years ago and absolutely love our home. They made the process simple and were very fast and organized. After we had been in our home a year, they came back to do a check in and were very through and helped take care of minor repairs, like nail heads that popped through. We had great experiences with staff there. They are friendly and responsive and answered all our questions along the way through the building process. Thank you N-F!

I been working with Novak Fleck for the past several years, and have always enjoyed working with their team. Novak Fleck and their sub contractors are second to non when it comes to building a custom home!

We bought a house from them. And there office lady tried to strong arm us from the get go when it came to putting our lawn in. They try and get you to do it before you close on your house so they don't have to pay the city to hold the money. But per the contract you don't have to. It foolish to do work to a lawn that you don't even own yet. And as of warranty work the same office lady does not respond to emails.

And last but not least they don't look after there subs work. I have caulking around a window that's still soft and I've lived here for 2 years. City is part to blame for that too

I bought my house from them on the 16th of March 2016 brand new. During the work through there was a noise on the floor area when working and they promised to fixed it. They came twice but couldn't made it right. Now floor noise on the hallway and all over my bedroom. The stairs are making noise when going up or down and some of the sidings came out, the toilets are not properly glued to the floor.

The kitchen counter tops all leaves the wall, doorbell that they put at my house is a discontinued product one of their maintenance guy told my wife. The builder lied to us that maintenance will come every year for two years to check on the building which had never happened. My house cost me $226000 i feel like it worth $150000 which means very very unhappy with there work.

One of there employee very very unprofessional by the name Dave may be the company belongs to his family. I'll never employ that kind of people to work in my company. If i have the power to shutdown that company i will do it within a second. People buying their properties please be careful.

We built a house through this builder last fall. During the process none of the builders contacts {carpet, counter tops} would meet us outside of regular banking hours which was a nightmare. Our Rep, with the builder kept telling us everything we wanted was wrong and constantly did not write down our selections for either the interior and exterior of the house, causing us to have to redo it over and over again.

After all that some of the stuff installed was not what we asked and for and we were told it would cost us extra to have them redo it. We were told several things about finishing our yard at closing and this year they are telling us different things. We put the money to finish the yard in our mortgage and it still is not getting done because Novak-Fleck is so hard to deal with.

Bottom line: They only build starter houses and even though they say they "custom build", they really do not. They will tell you what ever they want at the closing and then not follow through on it. After they tell you those things they will then not do anything and be confused as to why you thought they would. I would NOT recommend them to anyone I knew. Building a house should be fun. They make it miserable.

I bought a house from this company in 2013. The home was built in 2008. They were still the owners as they sold originally as Contract for Deed. They painted the entire house in FLAT paint prior to selling which has been a nightmare and we are repainting now. But that really is a small issue next to my front door. The entire door, sub floor, linoleum, maybe framing and drywall will have to be replaced after 1 year in the home.

The front door does not have an overhang and when the door was installed there was not proper flashing or drip cap, causing the water to be able to penetrate through the J channel used around the vinyl siding. Clearly this was installed improperly by the builder (Novak-Fleck) but they are telling me there is no warranty on this. They must have painted over the water damage to avoid the additional fix, now that it has been another rainy year this could cost me $2000 if I do it myself, hired out more like 3-4k$ If I were you stay away! There were a few other details that they did fix before I took ownership of the home but that was pulling teeth as well!
