Buddy and his crew did a wonderful job. He is very organized, always responded right away with any questions or concerns, and his people always showed up when expected and did beautiful work. There generous donation of time and materials played an important role in making our kitchen /training area a reality. Our beautiful new space will allow us to further enhance our commitment to people with all types of disabilities to live independently, by providing important skills training.

We hired Off Duty Fireman Construction on the advice from Blue Ridge Floors and couldn’t be happier with the end result. Our project included renovating a kitchen, bathroom, and closets into a larger open kitchen and master bathroom as well as other updates such as new floors, stairs, outside door, etc. A great crew to work with; very professional.
Good communication throughout the project which was especially important as we weren’t living in the area at the time. Buddy’s knowledge and willingness to provide us design ideas helped us make decisions that worked for us. We will be hiring them again shortly to work on phase 2! We recently completed phase 2. This project involved the entire exterior of the house; repairing the sheathing that was rotten and replacing the roof, siding, and decks. Marvin and his crew provide a quality product.
He may be more expensive than other contractors but you get what you pay for. We spent plenty of time up front talking through the scope of the project. He made many, many suggestions, met with us at the building supply store to show us various options and discuss pros and cons of each. He handles all the details, communicating between the customer and anyone working on the project and addressing any issues promptly.
He makes sure the customer knows the schedule, sharing those details in a timely manner. We are very pleased with the outcome. We love our ‘new’ home and are very thankful we chose a reputable team to help!
