Founded by Tom Paulsen in 1952, shortly after emigrating to the United States from Denmark, and now run by son Chris, the firm has had an overriding focus on customer service, quality craftsmanship and an appreciation of the inherent beauty of building in the Northwest. Paulsen Construction Inc. was founded more than 50 years ago by Tom Paulsen after emigrating from Denmark to the US in 1950. Tom had been classically trained in the European tradition of Master Carpentry and schooled in architecture and he applied these skills to his new company. The company was dedicated to building homes with the utmost attention to detail and old world craftsmanship.
