Services
Current system usage and future requirements are assessed and will be used to determine the needs of the system. Based on this assessment, the design of the system is evaluated for compliance with current safety requirements including OSHA regulations and industry standards. Testing and design needs are also reviewed as part of the compliance evaluation.
PENTA's staff of engineers and professionals are experienced in the evaluation and repair design of virtually all exterior building component systems including roofs, and various types of facades. PENTA routinely provides cost effective consulting to building owners and managers that are experiencing water intrusion from the facade or roofing membranes.
Both NFPA and UL recommend yearly inspections or inspections following any modifications to the system. UL goes further and recommends a more thorough inspection and recertification every five years. UL states that five years is the period of time where it is likely that a system will be out of compliance.
