We offer infrared inspections as part of our standard home inspection, as well as for single-item troubleshooting inspections. All of our home inspectors come equipped with an infrared camera which can be used to help discover problems that wouldn't normally be identified with the naked eye. Infrared cameras show surface temperature differences, which can give clues to a host of different problems with houses.

I had an Energy audit done by Robert Stockman of Pinnacle inspections. We started right away with the most pressing problem: insualting the attic as our heat escaped thru the ceiling and did not keep the house warm. In addition, we had insulation blown into the attic achieving an R 49 rating. The garage's attic was covered with an R 30. Right away we could feel a difference. Robert guided me thru these requirements.
The next improvement was the foam blown between our studs from the exterior of the house. Again, Robert was instrumental in guiding our decisions. I sent periodic emails to him to let him know what we had done so far and he always sent an email back to me. We replaced our old fireplace insert with a new 32,000 BTU heating one and we are actually looking forward to the next winter season to come so we can compare those heating costs to the current ones! The bills should be considerably less! I am so glad that we found Robert who is really the best to work with! Petra Hughes

Extremely happy with my home inspection performed by Pinnacle Inspections. My report was thorough, with clear and precise descriptions on his findings. The inspection actually saved me a lot of money in the long run. I was able to negotiate a better price for my home based on the findings. No check list on this inspection. It was complete, well written, and had pictures describing problem area's. I liked the job performed so much, I had Pinnacle Inspections and Robert also inspect a building I was purchasing!

The wife and I are very impressed by Robert's attention to detail and level of knowledge. Most inspectors offer the usual, and we got that too. We received a very thorough home inspection. A full narrative report complete with pictures and recommendations. But it's the extra stuff that set's Pinnacle Inspections apart. He came to the house with a Infrared Thermal Imager, you can literally see through the wall with it.
For a mostly visual type of inspection, which is a home inspection, the ability to see through a wall is invaluable. The extra capability gave him the ability to provide us with in depth looks into air infiltration/leakage/air sealing, insulation, roof moisture problems, breaker problems. The list just goes on. Robert literally showed us everything.
And in the report he puts in the extra work to provide recommendations on his findings. Trust me, if you are looking around for the best home inspector I can guarantee you that Pinnacle Inspection is where you need to go. Buying a house is serious, and you need to make sure you get a proper inspection done that arms you with the best knowledge of your house. You can NOT do that with just your eyes, you need to do better, you need to go Pinnacle.
