A great place to get lumber, millwork, cabinets etc etc. Big box doesn't have anything on them

They supposedly ordered some deck boards for me but after 3 weeks I found out they were never ordered.

DO NOT BOOK AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE. We scheduled an appointment and showed up only to find out that the two ladies that were there already were booked and they didn't even know we were coming. They tried to squeeze us in before their "real clients" got there. They literally spent 10 minutes with us and then left once their clients got there. I put on my online appointment request that I was looking for an estimate and that were were in the really early stages.

We really needed help with estimating price to see if our budget was in the right place. The woman took a 5 second look at our diagram and told us that our budget was too low and pretty much wrote us off from then on out. Didn't even ask for measurements (as we have a small kitchen that looks large on paper). We looked at 1 cabinet color and a few countertop choices, were asked for measurements and then left alone.

We looked around the store for a bit but then felt like we were just getting in the way of the "real clients". Very upsetting as we are young and new to the remodel process and we're very hopeful that this company would be kind and caring as it came highly recommended by contractors and friends.

Great place to do business best selection of lumber in the Dayton area

Tried several places to locate a solid brass lock set for a Anderson storm door. After being disappointed at several big box home improvement stores. REQUARTH Lumber is a long respected name in the Dayton, Ohio, so I called them. They did not have the part in house but immediately ordered it and gave me the arrival date. Happily the lock is installed and my neighbor can sell her home!

Requarth is home after home, best guys ever working the yard taking so much pride in their work, and the place it self that's where you go for wood, art and design.

We have always had a great experience buying from Requarth. Recently we made these two farmhouse tables from kits they sold us. Perfect for our barn and turned out great! A few years ago my husband bought cedar there to make our long-lasting chick-shaw. Great place, helpful people.

Requarth is a city of Dayton icon. A great place to go if you are performing restoration work on a old home, or if you just want to upgrade your kitchen. Requarth has a very professional and knowledgeable sales staff to assist your design needs.

This place is not the cheapest in town when it comes to materials but their material is the highest quality in the area. Their staff that works the counter and the guys that run the lumber yard are always very helpful and friendly they are also very knowledgeable and answer any questions I might have. This is the only place I will buy lumber from because I know my customers will get the highest quality material. Thank you for providing my company with quality materials.

Requarth is a great place to get a lot of your home improvement needs. I come here for siding. My house has cedar rustic channel siding. It's a pain to find a local place that sells it. After going to the big three (Lowe's, Home Depot, and Menards.all great places), I checked out some of the smaller places that did siding before deciding I was going to do it myself. Prices were more than I wanted and I'm good with tools and still young enough to do it myself.

I decided to give Requarth a look. And they had my siding. Their customer service is always good. And the price for my siding was reasonable, especially considering cedar isn't all that cheap. I will keep coming here for siding and might even contract with them in a couple of years for a kitchen. I don't think the former owners of my house updated a thing since the concrete was poured.

When I stop by, it's usually to rummage through the cutoffs bin for my hobby woodworking projects, but everyone is always helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable! The cutoffs bin usually has more than enough large pieces for me to incorporate into various projects at very reasonable prices, which is fantastic for someone like me, just starting out and without much of a budget.

My only complaint is that the bin was moved from the main showroom area to one of the storage warehouses which requires calling back and waiting until someone is available to help me, so I don't have enough time during my lunches to stop in and pick up pieces anymore and they close before I'm off work in the evening, and then I feel like I'm inconveniencing whoever has to watch over me as I pick through the pile. I understand why it would be set up this way, but it's made it difficult for me to buy anything in a long time.

These guys will "bend over backwards" for the customer! I cannot give this business enough praise! Honest, treats customers with respect, helpful, and should be the role model for how Miami Valley businesses should be run! I am a homeowner who needed a special order. There was no "ahem" or bad attitude towards me. The salespeople were honest and the wood I received was so great, that I would gladly use their services again and recommend them for any woodwork that need to be done! I have not used their remodelling services, only their woodworking expertise.
