We love our new decks so much! We had three decks replaced: the main deck, the bedroom balcony, and the ground-level kitchen deck. Nate and his crew were completely professional and dependable. The main deck was expanded and built to surround our 100-year-old pine tree. They did a truly marvelous job on everything. They were patient in working with our HOA and various county officials. After the job was done, we reached out with a couple additional requests, and they came over just a couple of days later, no problem.

SRI came highly recommended as a referral from our landscaper. After reading all the great reviews, my wife and I met with Nathan to discuss our deck project. From the start Nathan was super easy to work with-his collaboration with us, his recommendations on design and great insights were so helpful and gave us peace of mind. He quickly followed up with a detailed estimate and render concept plans, along with clarifying the timing and permit process which was all reassuring, before deciding to move forward with the deck project.

Once the actual deck project work started, Nathan and his team did incredibly efficient and quality work. They were also all a friendly and respectful crew. We enjoyed asking questions about the deck progress and details along the way. We could tell we were in good hands with a reliable and experienced crew. The deck project ended up starting early and was completed faster than anticipated.

Throughout the process there was always great communication between Nathan and us. Towards the end of the deck project, Nathan and his team went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the project and even moved large flagstone pieces from below our old deck-making sure the space was cleaned up and ready for our landscape work. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found and worked with SRI. We confidently recommend using them for high quality, efficient and detailed work with great customer support.

Today, homeowners rely heavily on online reviews for everything from plumbers to landscapers and everything in between. When my wife and I decided to redo our deck, we were no different. While reviews can be very subjective, they are a very important tool in order to gain some perspective on a business and their employees. When I came across SRI, I was intrigued by their Google rating but also skeptical.

Can a company truly live up to such a reputation? The answer is YES! From the start, I was very impressed with Buster's professionalism and responsiveness. While some deck contractors I reached out to were never to be heard from again after the initial meeting, Buster provided a detailed quote and rendering of our project quickly and efficiently. I immediately knew this was the contractor for us based on his timeliness and continual attention.

I felt from the start that my business and my project was important which is what every customer wants to feel from a contractor. Buster asked questions and made recommendations in order to make sure we were receiving a realistic estimate and visual example of our project. As my wife and I made dramatic changes to the original project, Buster took it all in stride never making us feel as though we were inconveniencing him. Instead, he made the adjustments to the rendering and the quote faster than I expected in order to guarantee we were receiving exactly what we wanted on our project and could plan accordingly.

At the end of the day, our new deck, pergola, and covered roof truly surpassed our expectations and Buster and the entire SRI team did an amazing job. Buster focused on the details, listened and engaged with us throughout the process, spoke to us rather than at us, and ultimately did whatever was needed to ensure our project exceeded our expectations - which is did. Buster and the SRI team provided something few contractors today can claim - they care for your property and your project as if it were their own.

They have been a pleasure to deal with throughout the process and I consider myself fortunate to have shared this remodeling journey with them. Buster and his crew did a fantastic job. He was kind and professional, as well as meeting all our needs for our deck. We cannot wait to entertain and use our deck in the summer! I highly recommend using Buster's services, he is the best!

We are so pleased with our new deck! Nate, Luke & Kyle did an outstanding job. It was done in 14 days! The weather cooperated. They were on time, worked all day and cleaned up after themselves each night. I have already recommended them to our neighbor, and they start on her home March 1st. I would highly recommend them!

We are incredibly happy with our new deck! Buster and his crew handled all the demolition and rebuild of our old deck and patio. We added a composite deck with railing, pergola, and privacy wall and we couldn't be happier with the custom look. The custom pergola and privacy wall look better than we originally planned, and it's definitely the best looking pergola in the neighborhood! Spectacular design and execution! My husband and I hired Buster Thede from SRI to replace our deck and add a pergola because he shared our vision. We interviewed at least five other contractors, and all of them seemed more intent on selling us what they were willing to build rather than on giving us what we--the customer--wanted. Buster patiently listened to us and created a design based on our criteria.

He also was willing to use building materials that weren't part of his normal repertoire, something other contractors had declined to do. One of our other considerations for choosing SRI was that the pricing was very competitive. You always hear about Millennials that don't want to work. That couldn't be further from the truth for Buster and his team.

These dedicated young men always arrived eager to perform--even in 100-degree heat--and they were polite and respectful towards us and our property. We also were impressed by the level of communication-something that contractors typically lack. Throughout the project, Buster always kept us updated. We were impressed by his willingness to accommodate our requests given that our project didn't fit into any preconceived mold.

He also graciously executed all our change requests without complaint or hesitation. Buster and his SRI team made our deck replacement project the most positive home improvement experience we've ever had. Thank you, Buster, Liam, Matt, Jordan, Big Al and all the others from SRI who chipped in to help build our new deck! We highly recommend SRI to anyone considering building or replacing a deck-especially if they want to do something unique. My husband and I are looking forward to enjoying our new, customized, outdoor living space for many years to come!

This review is about 3 months overdue; it's been hard watching our beautiful new deck get covered with snow time after time before we've really even gotten a chance to enjoy it. Ryan and his crew were incredible throughout this entire process. From initial design and quote to final walk through and lighting tutorial we were updated every single day on progress and next steps.

The team was here 5 days a week, unless the temperature was below 30 degrees, from start to finish (they even shoveled snow off the yard a handful of days so they could work). Would highly recommend and will use these guys for any jobs they are willing to take.

What a bad experience I had with this company. I'm actually speechless here. The story is too long to tell. They claim to be Trex certified but the son didn't know how to install them properly and even said to me "I've never installed this type of Trex." I didn't learn that until they were 80% into the job. In short, I had a couple of construction companies come to my house to inspect my deck after these characters built it and the responses I received were laughs (literally) and the word "amateurs."

We just had our deck rebuilt by SRI and couldn't be happier. The crew is extremely professional and their quality of work is amazing. Joe is a great communicator and the price was beyond fair. Thank you so much for everything. We highly recommend this company.

These guys are Fantastic. Very Friendly and Professional and the deck work is great. They all so offered to do side jobs to help me out on getting stuff off of old Deck. Would certainly recommend!

This review is for the customer experience, not the quality of their work: I've had Sri decks coming over to give me a quote. They said I should have one in 3-4 business days. After 2 weeks and nothing I've called to ask about the status. The guy who answered the phone remembered me and was surprised to hear I didn't get a quote yet. He promised me I will get one. 3 more weeks have past by and nothing yet.

[Hire them - wow] We were looking for to have a large pergola built, along with a fence around the patio. Joe came out and gave us a detailed quote, including insight on some things we weren't sure how to do. His guidance led to the project being exactly what we had hoped for. The team was on time, every time, cleaned up every day, didn't smoke or blast music, and were wildly respectful of our home and neighbors. The work they did looks fantastic, and we know we'll enjoy it for years to come. Thanks, Joe and team!

Joe's team did an exceptional job and worked throughout the day to complete our deck. It looked great and came out better than expected. The only complaint is that trying to get a hold of Joe for warranty work was like trying to get a bill passed in Congress. Numerous messages were left and he eventually called us back. We just needed several pieces of our arbor replaced due to weathering. Joe stated it would take him several weeks due to other jobs in the works - we understood.

Never heard back from him again, even after calling and leaving messages - it was clear he was avoiding us. In short, Joe and his team do great work but as far as completing warranty work they get a big "F". We were disappointed.

SRI convinced me to have a Tigerwood (Brazilian wood) deck built and it has been a nightmare ever since. He came back to restain it and did a very poor job; the deck has not looked the same since.

Joe's team did an amazing job and provided exceptional customer service. We live in the Lower Highlands and have a small backyard that needed a deck that fit with the rest of our landscaping. Joe's team led by Buster built a solid deck that is beyond your typical design. And the team paid attention to every detail to ensure my wife and I were delighted. Really good group of guys. I wish I could give SRI more than 5 stars.

This review is as good as it gets. It's mid-December and I am outside playing with my boys enjoying our deck from SRI. It's absolutely gorgeous, with a high level of craftsmanship, given all the stairs involved. Joe, his son Buster, and the crew were very communicative, collaborative, and hard working (there were some very cold days, but the guys were still out there). Plus, I got an amazing deal (compared to the other quotes I received) for a deck that looks very similar to the one in the picture. Stairs flowing right into our backyard. Tremendous!
