As providers of structural steel and metal fabrication services, quality control is taken seriously at Stone Bridge. Stone Bridge is an AISC Quality Certified Fabricator achieving the AISC's STD certification with a P1 paint endorsement. The greatest savings in cost and schedule can be achieved through the design-build project delivery system. Worries about competitive bidding are unnecessary since fast-track construction projects that are fluid, with design holes and anticipated changes, give little guarantee that the final cost will resemble the original cost-estimate.
Ronald Carmer founded Stone Bridge Iron & Steel in 1973, a metal fabrication company that provides structural steel and miscellaneous metals products for the construction industry. The company, operating at first out of a single barn, immediately began reinvesting in used equipment. As the fledgling steel fabrication outfit embarked on a path of expansion and improvement, Ron's sons came on board.
Stone Bridge Iron & Steel is a family-run business dedicated to excellence and quality in the construction industry. We offer a relaxed work environment that encourages open communication and recognition. Stone Bridge seeks out diverse and talented employees and provides opportunities for training and advancement.
Stone Bridge Iron & Steel, Inc. recognizes that our people drive the business. Stone Bridge Iron & Steel promotes a safety culture for its employees, who are safeguarded through training, provision of appropriate work surroundings, and procedures that foster protection of health and safety. All work conducted by Stone Bridge Iron & Steel's employees will take into account the intent of this policy. No duty, no matter what its perceived result, will be deemed more important than employee health and safety.

Outstanding commitment to "get it right", or worst case "make it right"! The type of operation that makes it easy to bring business back to again in the future.

What they dont tell you is that if you get hired as a welder you have to take a 2g flux core test, which is totally understandable. Except for the fact that itll take a bout a month to get the results so in the mean time you are just a whipping boy. You have to talk to the foreman every five seconds to see what there is to do, and by the way all he does is drink coffee and yell at people. Probably because he got out of jail for stabbing a guy.

Wouldn't suggest working here if your a welder/fitter. The supervisor named Jim M, was easily the most terrible person I ever had to deal with in my professional career. He just stands around and does nothing but bully his employees instead of inspiring them to do better. The owners are good people and do provide good retirement plans though.
