Two Teacher Construction

Stefan and his crew re-built our deck this summer and we could not be happier with the results. Two Teachers is busy, but there's a reason! We made an appointment for Stefan to come and look at our project. We looked at the existing deck and talked about many different options. Stefan presented these options, but at no time did I feel he was trying to over-sell.

He wrote up a detailed quote and when we decided to use Two Teachers, he came back and went over the quote in detail, making sure we understood each item. Once we signed, a date was scheduled. Again, they're busy because of their excellent work, so call now, or early in the spring. Our date was set and Stefan and his team were right on time. During the build, there were some unforeseen issues that required changes to the build and the cost. Stefan always did an excellent job of explain the change orders before they went ahead.

His crew is fast, careful and considerate. At the end of each day they cleaned up and put their gear away. When the project was finished, everything was picked up, magnates were used to remove any nails or screws dropped and our deck was ready for use. Stephan and his crew did an exemplary job building a beautiful deck for us. It is a 12x16 deck with composite material and a beautiful aluminum railing. On the initial quote Stephan spent the needed time with us to give us much information on the options out there on condtruction ie, materials, diff quality levels and so on. He was thoughtful in repsonses to our questions and we came away feeling like this wasn't his 300th deck to quote (or build) but OUR FIRST one that we were building.

We were very impressed by his crew; friendly and did not leave one piece of scrap, litter or gum wrapper behind. Stephan was on site working right there with his guys during building. What impressed us the most was how Stephan got our deck up in the promised time despite a major delay that was caused by an outside factor that was no fault of Stephan's at all! The deck is beautiful.better quality that we imagined. We recommend Two Teachers to everyone who wants a first class quality result and quality workmanship.

What I value most in any company I am looking to hire for a job around the house is communication. Steffan and Shelly provided exemplary communication from first inquiry to the final day. At our first appointment, Steffan came prepared with samples, pictures and was able to provide us with an estimate on the spot. We decided to replace our old deck with a maintenance free one.
