After getting three quotes for a full AC replacement, New Orleans Mechanical Pros came in with the best price AND the most thorough explanation of what I actually needed. The technician did a proper Manual J load calculation the other companies just eyeballed it. They installed a Carrier 16 SEER2 system in one day, cleaned up everything, and registered the warranty for me. Two months later, my Entergy bill dropped $140 compared to last summer. I've been using New Orleans Mechanical Pros for our annual maintenance contract for three years now. They come out twice a year - spring and fall - clean the coils, check refrigerant levels, inspect the electrical, and give me a written report. Last spring they caught a cracked heat exchanger before it became a carbon monoxide issue. That alone is worth the cost of the contract ten times over. Honest, thorough, and always on time.

Had a mini-split installed in my workshop/garage in Chalmette. The technician assessed the space, recommended the right BTU size for the square footage and ceiling height, and installed a Mitsubishi unit that runs whisper-quiet. He also explained how to use the inverter technology to save on electricity - I had no idea mini-splits were that efficient. The installation was clean, the lineset was routed neatly, and he even patched the wall penetration perfectly. Very happy.

Good experience overall. They were on time, diagnosed the problem quickly (bad blower motor), and had the part available. The repair took about 90 minutes. My only minor complaint is that they were a bit hard to reach by phone initially - had to leave a voicemail. But once they called back, everything went smoothly. The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. Would use again.

We had a new commercial HVAC system installed in our 4,000 sq ft office building in Broadmoor. The project manager was excellent - clear communication throughout, the installation crew was professional and worked around our business hours, and the final commissioning was thorough. They also provided training for our office manager on the building automation system. The new system is significantly quieter than the old one and our energy bills have dropped noticeably.
