Roger is a fourth-generation builder whose passion for construction began at an early age: I can vividly remember picking up scrap lumber on my father's job-sites at the age of six. As I grew my father gave me many tasks that over the years taught me the fundamentals of building. After studying architecture at Lawrence Technology University, Roger established Widing Custom Homes in his hometown of Fenton, MI during the year 1976.
