Coakley & Williams Construction is a General Contractor building the DMV for more than 60 years. Our experience includes life science facilities, multifamily, education, & hospitality projects, distribution centers, industrial facilities, major municipal buildings, and corporate interiors. CWC was recently engaged by the Georgetown Day School (GDS) for preconstruction services on the expansion and renovation for it's existing High School.

We are proud to announce that CWC project manager Nick Yager was recently honored with the 2022 Tropaia Outstanding Student Award by the Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies.

The project celebrated its topping out ceremony, marking the halfway point of the scope of work. The ASLA Center for Landscape Architecture in Washington DC was recently recognized by AIA Virginia's 2020 Awards for Excellence in Architecture. The project, completed in 2017, won a merit award in the interior design category.

See the final photos of the new Long Bridge Park Aquatics and Fitness Center in Arlington, VA. The new 801 Men's Shelter, located in Washington, DC, celebrated its grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Our Southern Area Aquatics & Recreation Center (SAARC) project was recently featured in an Inform Magazine article about the process of planning and designing artwork for public buildings. The piece was authored by Eliel Alfon, AIA, a Design Principal with Hughes Architects, our Design-Build partner for the project.
