My family's commitment to quality began in 1885 when my great-great grandfather, Philip Allendorfer, a German immigrant and Lincoln Park police officer, started moonlighting as a roofer to supplement his income. His pursuit of the American Dream began with ambition, a solid work ethic and a horse-drawn wagon.
