We recently worked with Steve and Johanna from Deck Detail to build our dream deck. We picked them out of 5 bids because of their reasonable prices and their reputation. We were very happy with our choice overall. They were very quick to respond to any of our question and concerns (we can be picky) which was very much appreciated. We were always in the loop on what was going on with our builder and the project throughout the process.

They ensured that the work was done right and the end result is just what we wanted. Going from rotten wood to Trex has been quite the amazing transformation! Nice people who care about the work that they do.

We had a great experience with Deck Detail. We called in the Spring and they were able to get us on the schedule in August. When they came out they really meticulous when power washing. When it was all finished we got nervous because their was a white film that appeared a few days after the sealant was applied. They answered our call immediately and were back out in a few days to fix this this common moisture problem. They did such a great job I know my neighbors signed up to use them too.

My experience with Deck Detail was extremely positive. My deck was painted an unsettling blue color and was chipping really bad. A few of the boards were severely rotted and needed to be replaced. They went above and beyond and completely removed the pre-existing paint and repaired the rotted wood. My deck now looks brand new and more natural! My back yard is now way more comfortable and I am not worried about my daughter getting splinters from our deck anymore!

I have been trying for two weeks to get someone to schedule an estimate for deck repairs, and this company might as well not exist. The don't call back or follow up when they say they will, and the seem to have a habit of losing track of that fact that I'm trying to be a potential customer at all. So, I've now taken the hint, and taken my business elsewhere.

Horrible work! Do NOT hire this company. I hired them to fix the rotting wood on my deck. I was left with several tops to posts that anyone could have done. They left off any of the detail that was once there. I now have shady work with screws showing. After calling them BACK out, I had to explain to them that the posts of the deck needed to MATCH! I'm still waiting for the repairs, power wash and stain that I was promised on 5/17. (Quote given to me on 5/8!) I'm extremely disappointed. No one has even come out to talk with me about the work or what needed to be done. I just came home to replaced wood pieces.
