We purchased a brand new home that was painted by Claffey's. Just like the other reviewers, they did such a poor job. This is our second new home and our previous one we never had any issues with coverage but on this one you can tell they missed exposed trim on the exterior which is REALLY BAD for the exterior especially in this area with so much rain. They only painted 1 coat on the interior; there are SO many areas where you can see the texture because the paint is so thin and this is after we already marked a bunch of spots they missed in our initial walk through. So, brand new home and now we get to spend more $$$ on painting because Claffey's isn't capable of doing a proper job.

I would never use this company! This is the painter my builder chose for my house, they never covered the floor and spilled paint thinner on my hardwood floors, slopped stain on my brand new carpet, slopped paint/stain all over my cabinets, the paint is thin is spots, the trim isn't even painted in areas (just factory primed) they never removed staples in the exterior and just painted over them.
The list could go on and on. I have had my previous house painted outside, inside and cabinets and by far this is the worst job I have ever seen! I think my 9 year old could do better, thank you Claffey's for ruining my custom built dream home!

Claffey's was the company used by the builder who did my house. They might do a paint job, but it sure isn't a quality job. If you look at the big picture, it's fine. But, once you start noticing the details---look out. The painters have been back a couple of times, and still need to come back. There are many areas where the paint is blotchy, spotty, thin, or slopped over onto the baseboards.
Some of the caulking wasn't done prior to painting, leaving holes in the trim next to the wall. Baseboard corners weren't painted thoroughly. If I had known the paint job would look like this, I would've hired someone on my own. Come to think of it, I may, just to have the job done right. If you don't care about the details and a job being done neatly and thoroughly, these are your guys.

Claffeys just painted our master bath. Did an excellent job. We have a lot of corners and turns in our bathroom and I was impressed at how meticulous they were with trim and challenging spots. They could have done a little better job with the cleanup however. The cover tarps they used left a lot of dirt, dust and debris on my countertops, floors and inside my bath tub which I ended up cleaning. I would definitely recommend their paint services.

We had Claffey's paint the exterior of our house and stain our covered patio. They came in on budget and all the staff members were very friendly and were conscious of our plants and worked around them. The only negative thing I would mention is a slight language barrier but again very friendly. The overall paint job was very good we did not have to go back and do any touch ups. Thank you Claffey's!
