Steve's Plumbing and AC came recommended to me so I called them when I had an issue with my old AC unit. I was able to get an appointment quickly, and Jake came out for the service call in the early part of the window given to me (always helpful!). Jake explained everything, gave me options for a repair needed as well as let me know what to expect within the next 2 yrs so that I could plan. No high pressure upselling and he fixed the problem. I will use them again if/when the need arises!

Jake from Steve's plumbing did a great job of helping us repair a faulty air conditioning unit in our condominium in Kona. We had tenants in the unit at the time that the air conditioner failed, and Jake was able to work with me remotely to identify the best new product for our situation, and then install it without any disruption to the tenants. We are now part of the Steve's Ohana and enjoy the benefits of regular service visits from Jake.

We ended up using a new Bosch air conditioner and are extremely pleased with the results. I would definitely call and Steve's for any additional plumbing or air conditioning needs at our unit. And I would also ask for Jake to be our technician. He's very personable, trustworthy, and easy to deal with.

Jeremiah was the plumber - no place to fill a name in. and he wasn't on your list. You brought him over from Maui. He could not have been more professional, polite or friendlier. Faced with a difficult job - replacing an on demand hot water system with a hard to find replacement. Located one in Hilo, got it up to Honoka'a and we now have hot water. Yes, it was expensive, but we have hot water.

Think all or part of the 225. service call fee should be applied to a contracted job. But if it takes that to get work done, oh, well. Bottom line is Steve's Plumbing and Jeremiah get as many stars that will fit.******** Mahalo nui loa.

We detected a leak coming through the ceiling and called for a plumber right away. Steve's Plumbing was the first to respond and they let us know we'd be contacted within the hour. Two hours later we received a call and was told to expect someone shortly. Levi arrived and assessed the situation, recommending a leak test be done. Three holes in the ceiling and $729 later, Brendan was able to identify the source of our leak, and recommended we replace a section of the pipe.

The pipe replacement was done quickly and we also opted for additional preventative maintenance be done throughout the house. Brendan was very professional and provided insight into what we should keep an eye on. I would provide additional stars, but didn't care for the fact that they ask an additional fee to warranty their work. I'm not sure if this is an industry standard, so take that with a grain of salt.
