We use moisture-balanced materials suited to Connecticut's climate, ensuring long-term stability. Our NWFA-certified installers employ dustless systems and low-VOC finishes, prioritizing indoor air quality. Every project includes subfloor preparation, acclimatization of materials, and multiple finish options to match your lifestyle. Clients receive transparent quotes, detailed timelines, and comprehensive care guides for lasting results.
Hardwood Floor Refinishing
We restore worn hardwood floors using dustless sanding technology that captures 95%+ of airborne particles. Our process includes stain customization, low-VOC finish application, and multi-step sanding for flawless results. Each project follows NWFA standards with moisture testing and proper curing times. We handle surface scratches, water damage, and discoloration while maintaining structural integrity. Clients benefit from faster re-entry times and improved indoor air quality compared to traditional methods.
Dustless Sanding
Our dustless sanding system uses HEPA filtration to capture over 99% of fine particles during floor refinishing. This technology protects indoor air quality for allergy sufferers and pet owners while reducing cleanup time by 70%. The process maintains structural integrity through multi-grit sanding and moisture-controlled environments. We achieve smoother finishes with less disruption to households, making it ideal for occupied homes and commercial spaces requiring continuous operation.
Floor Repairs
We specialize in repairing water damage, deep scratches, and structural issues in hardwood floors. Our technicians use matching materials and color blending techniques to ensure seamless results. The process includes subfloor assessment, board replacement, and finish restoration that matches existing surfaces. We handle both minor touch-ups and extensive restoration projects, preserving the floor's original character while extending its lifespan through proper sealing and protection.
Custom Finishes
We offer custom finish solutions using premium low-VOC products like Bona Traffic HD and Pallmann X-Power. Our experts help clients choose from water-based, oil-based, or UV-cured options based on durability needs and aesthetic preferences. The application process ensures even coverage and proper curing for long-lasting protection. We provide finish warranties and maintenance plans to preserve appearance while resisting daily wear in high-traffic areas.

The facts are simple : Daniel and his crew did a superb job at a very reasonable price. I asked Daniel many questions to which he answered in a very knowledgeable manner. Daniel is very proud of his work, as he should be. Our floors needed redoing after 35 years of use by 5 folk, 3 dogs, 2 cats and the neighborhood kids. The finished work reminded us of the time we had originally installed the floors back in 1994.

Only suggestion, if I may : Daniel add a "what to expect" sheet ex how many days before walking with shoes, how many days before the floors dries etc. Although we communicated via text (wife) me (email) somethings got lost. In Summary : Great person to get to know and trust with your floors. Thanks Daniel and crew

Daniel was incredibly professional and I would highly recommend this company. My house was built in 1940 and the floors were horrendous. Nails holes, different color stain, dry wood. Daniel did the estimate very quickly, the employees were reliable, there was great communication throughout the process. Most importantly, my floors look amazing and it completely brightens up the house. Also, the price was very reasonable and much more affordable than a few other estimates that I got. 5 stars!

I highly recommend Dustless Hardwood Floors to anyone looking for a professional flooring company. I had the pleasure of speaking with Daniel owner of Dustless Hardwood and had nothing but the best experience when speaking with him. He took the time to explain exactly what needed to be done to bring the life back into my floors. I was given a fair price and the floors were completed exactly when he said they would. I am so pleased with the hard work Dustless Hardwood has done this company is truly amazing and worth 5 stars.

Daniel and his team were AMAZING! Daniel came HIGHLY recommended to us and throughout the entire process of working with him, he demonstrated flexibility, responsiveness and patience. While he normally works in the greater Hartford area, he accommodated us in NYC, worked on the expedited timeline we requested and was in constant communication with updates and photos. He explained all aspects of the process to us and patiently went back and forth to negotiate a price that we both felt comfortable with.

His team was extremely respectful and reliable.and they even fed our koi fish for us! Our floors are absolutely STUNNING and were finished in 2 days with minimal interruption to our schedule! HIGHLY recommend their amazing work!

Dan did an incredible job! The floors were covered with carpet and after years of 2 cats and a dog having accidents on the carpet, urine had soaked through and stained the real oak hardwood flooring. The wife and i were distrought thinking that we would never be able to get the stains out. DAN worked his magic and the floors look new! Plus I really like when the owner is on the job. ( disclaimer - the wife and I spent the prior 2 weeks dabbing peroxide with a foam paint brush, letting it dry then reapplying on urine stains, which substantially faded the stains in the red oak flooring ) However it was DAN doing a proper sanding job and using LENMAR finishing products.

We had our handyman install some pre-finished floors for us and he applied oil based polyurethane and did a real, real, bad job - I called a few other refinishers and all that could do was berate my handyman - when Daniel came to my house all that he wanted was help resolve my problem we agreed on a contract and he, as promised was in and out in one, yes one day, he sanded the floor back to an unfinished state, and applied 3 finish coats - my wife and I couldn't be happier - he was courteous, on time and within budget.

And as advertised is was a totally dustless result. We are planning on having Daniel and his team refinish the rest of the mess in the other areas caused by the same handyman. I would recommend Dustless hardwood floors to anyone!

I can't say enough positive things about Danny and Dustless Hardwood Floors. He is very professional, fair, a great communicator and extremely skilled at his trade. He came to our rescue when another contractor we were going to use basically bailed on us. By a stroke of luck we found Danny and he immediately came over and started the job. He did an awesome job!
