These guys were great. Sales/quote was very thorough and informative, good communication and follow-through on rebate applications. As for install, the crew of 4 or 5 worked well together, showed up on time, answered my questions, knocked out my retrofoam install in 6 or 7 hours, did a respectable job cleaning up afterward, and I can't even tell which pieces of siding they removed.

We hired Retrogreen Energy to complete a retro installation of foam insulation in our existing walls. We have an old house with orignal newspaper insulation that was just not cutting it to keep us warm in MN winters.

The crew completing the installation was very professional and communicated well with me throughout the day. It took just over half a day to complete the work from arrival to completed cleanup. We have cedar shakes as siding, and after the installation, we could hardly tell the work had been done.

For insulating my old home's attic they were careful, thorough, cleaned up after the work was done, and finished everything in one day.

When we noticed a minor oversight, and brought it to their attention, in less than an hour we heard from a member of the team who scheduled a time to come out and make things right. And that's just what they did.

They even helped us with energy rebates that made it possible for us to afford this attic and sunroom insulation project.

Chris had a large crew doing our attic crawl space. Several trucks and lots of equipment. They had to open up the roof to access this tight space. The crew removed the old crappy insulation, foamed in new for R-60, repaired the roof with matching shingles. They where finishing up as the rain came. Excellent timing guys.
I am glad the team was so well prepared and did good job of cleaning up. We can feel the difference in our home already.

Great experience with Retro Green! I have an historic home and they carefully removed the siding to drill holes and put it all back in place when they were finished and touched up the paint. Excellent communication from start to finish.

They did excellent work. They answered all my questions. I was surprised at how quickly the job was done. The crew that did the job were very professional. Our house was done in the beginning of January and I waited to leave a review so I could see how much money we are saving on our heating costs and I can say there has definitely been a savings there. I only regret not having this done sooner.

We are very happy that Retro Green was able to help us with our Insulation in our Roof/attic and our exterior walls.
Having an older home, things were not as they should have been. Lack of insulation as well as lack of venting in the attic caused many issues. Having very little insulation in the walls as well, made for a cold house in the winter and hot in the summer!! The furnace and fireplace seemed to never shut off and the AC was the same!!
I highly recommend them as they are very easy to work with and the guys that do the work are very professional. Any question I had, they answered without any hesitation. They know their stuff!!
We are excited to see our propane bill be lower this year!!

RetroGreen made two visits for our project. The first was to remove all the existing insulation in our attic in preparation for replacing HVAC ductwork. The second was to spray foam the new ductwork and seal gaps where it penetrated walls and floors. Foaming took place in the attic, main level and a crawl.

At each visit the crews showed up exactly on time. They confirmed the work to be done and asked multiple times if we had any questions before starting. They were good humored and engaging which is a monster plus for me. They worked efficiently and quickly. The finished work is better than we expected.

I had RertroGreen remove and reinstall attic insulation in our 25 year old house as it was apparent what was in there, wasn't doing the job. Our furnace ran constantly when temperature got below 10 F, and we had 5 foot icicles growing off the roof, even when temperatures were below freezing. Ergo, there was a massive heat loss. RetroGreen came in and in the space of 2 days, removed the old insulation, sealed and wrapped anything that needed it, (which was a lot!) and replaced it with new insulation. This was impressive to me as this is a large attic 3000+ sq.ft..
While it has been less than a week since they finished their work and I should actually give it more time before I make any permanent judgements, I can state at this time that during the recent snowstorm and subsequent sub-zero temperatures, the house stayed warm and draft free and the furnace spent more time off than on!
I am very happy with the results. There was a 30% reduction in air loss after the insulation was installed.

We hired RetroGreen Energy to help us come up with a sound proofing plan for a spin studio in a busy office complex. We executed the plan and the final results were better than we anticipated. We have zero transfer of sound out of the workout rooms, even when the stereo system is turned all the way up. We will defiantly be using RetroGeen Energy again in the future! We used RetroGreen to replace attic insulation and inject insulation into our bedroom walls. The entire crew was friendly, courteous, and extremely willing to answer any questions. As a business owner in the service industry, I was overly impressed with the amount of effort they took to protect the entire house. The entire crew worked their tails off. Nick, the foreman was hands down amazing and answered all of my questions.. Communicative, responsive and a pleasure to work with. Not only did the protection of the house amaze me, the clean-up was just as good. I highly recommend this crew!

Due to a cancellation I was able to get the install months before scheduled. The crew was fast, efficient and swore like sailors. The insulation effect was noticeable the first day with the main floor not as cold and the floor didn't have the usual cold spots.
Communication on what the job entailed and when it was to begin was well communicated before install day.

We had Retro Green come and insulate our home the was built in the late 60's. They where very reasonable and had a great product. I believe the house is less drafty and is much quieter! Their crew was friendly and hardworking! Thank you for a great job!!

The crew led by Paul was on time and extremely responsive to my questions and concerns. Fantastic group of people. From the sales team (Sam) explaining all aspects of the scope of work, with detailed photos and examples, to the team of installers that spent the time to explain the process and demonstrate how everything works. Paul (on site Supervisor) and his team (Andy, Jake and Vince) worked through some challenging conditions (rain and wind) without any concerns or complaints.

As a homeowner I wanted to ensure the team understood what my main concern was (drafty windows and doors), Paul spend additional time to discuss my main concerns with me and the team to ensure they were going to alleviate the issues I had. Paul, Andy, Jake and Vince were very professional while on site and prioritized their time to complete this project in the time they stated. This house was a bit of a challenge with previous renovations (the house was built in 1890) but Paul and the team worked with me to ensure we were able to achieve the intended outcome.

As a costumer I was very happy with the support and attention to detail that Paul and his crew preformed. I would highly recommend that anyone with insulating needs reach out to this group of devoted, determined, and highly skilled professionals. We contacted Home Advisors who gave us 3 companies to contact for adding insulation to our home. RetroGreen had their "act" together and after doing an energy audit of our house, Paul pointed out the areas where we were lacking sufficient insulation and air leaks. Sam came and took the measurements and gave us a quote. We had to wait longer than we liked to have the work done but have found out that the busy contractors are usually the ones that do the best job. Cody brought the crew in yesterday (half hour earlier than we were told). They went right to work and vacuumed out the old insulation and sealed the areas that leaked, built boxes around fixtures that stuck up into attic. and made a frame around ladder going into attic. Then they sprayed R-60 cellulose insulation into attic, making sure the ventilation needed was there. They cleaned the work area up including the ladder. I highly recommend RetroGreenEnergy

Sam gave a great presentation of who RetroGreen Energy is and he told us about the products, about the process, how long it will take, the clean up.
Day of installation: the dumpster arrived on time, the crew arrived on time, they started working right away, finished by mid afternoon and cleaned up after themselves. Very impressive.
They even do the paperwork for any Rebates that might be in place from the City, I just received my Rebate. All in all, it took less than a month.

So for my house, it was built in 1879, for the 16 years I have been here, I can tell you my furnace never shut off when it was below 20degrees outside and my heat never rose above 61degrees. After RetroGreen Energy did their magic, my furnace shuts off, (for quite a bit of time) and my house stays warm. Extremely happy. I highly recommend them.

Follow up, they send you pictures of what was in my wall spaces and attic space, I wasn't surprised, there was nothing. Also the"finished" pictures. I am so very happy to have run into them at a booth at the Sportsman Show.
