Preferred Building Systems is a division of LaValley Building Supply the largest independently owned building materials supplier in Vermont and New Hampshire that strives to be the top quality, low cost provider of building materials and services. Preferred Building Systems began in 2006 with the idea of delivering a better product through a more efficient delivery method of construction.

Because there is so much more to your new home than choosing a plan, we have limited our sample catalog to help you choose the style you prefer. We understand that hundreds of choices can seem overwhelming, and after all you want a home that is custom-built to your personal lifestyle. Our talented and highly skilled design team can take practically any home plan or concept and convert it into an energy efficient modular structure. Open concept homes, cathedral ceilings, lofts and any other style or luxury you desire; can be configured into your new custom home.

We work with you and your builder to create a home that is energy efficient, environmentally responsible and provides a comfortable living environment for you and your family. Our specialized process utilizes the modular method of construction to ensure that we deliver a consistent level of quality project to project.

In each project we can do as little or as much interior finish that is planned for. Levels of finish for projects can range from a shell package with wires, plumbing, insulation and drywall applied to more complete packages with walls prime painted, elaborate interior trim details, cabinets installed with countertops, sinks and faucets in place.
